BEHIND THE FLOWERS

My name is Caroline.

Im a transplanted Virginian, now living in beautiful Chattanooga, TN.

 

My love for nature was instilled in me as a child- always avoiding school by running into the woods, blazing new trails and building forts. It was my mother really, that cultivated that love in me. She always had some thing blooming in her garden. I remember she used to drag us to plant nurseries for hours as she carefully selected her little plant babies that she would take home with her. It's funny how even the most mundane memories from our childhood can affect the path we choose to take as adults. That was the seed that later grew into my passion for floral design.

 

After doing the flowers for my own wedding, I decided I wanted to explore more of the floral world. I found a small local floral shop with the most amazing owner, who took a chance on me and showed me all there is to know about floral design. I spent a year at that little shop- laughing, crying, praying, sweating, and freezing. That dream job came to an end when my husband took a job here in Chattanooga, where I decided to make my own dreams come to life and start Wild Seed Floral Co.

My heart for this company is build relationships and to create unique wild designs that reflect the beauty of nature.
